- Humboldt County’s cannabis industry an essential part of the economy in the eyes of California legislators has received none of the federal relief available to other businesses, but a new grant will allow the county to provide assistance to pot workers.
- The most important thing we have going for our industry during this time is that we have a Project Trellis program n Humboldt County, which does not exist in most other places in California, said Natalynne DeLapp, operations director of the Humboldt County Growers Alliance.
- A three-pronged program, Project Trellis involves marketing the local cannabis scene, micro-loans for small growers in the region and equity funding programs, built to provide assistance.
