- Three Senate commissions – including, left to right, Sens. Miguel Navarro, Julio Menchaca and Ana Rivera – on March 4 approved a bill that moved full marijuana legalization in Mexico one step closer to fruition.
- In addition to recreational marijuana, the bill would legalize cannabis for medical and industrial hemp use.
- A cannabis agency would be created to regulate commercial opportunities and issue licenses.
